Pricing

All the pricing on the website and the quotes we give you are based on market prices and what we have in stock. If prices go up we have to charge you more money. If you place an order and we do not have stock, and our new stock has gone up in price then we have to charge you the new price (we try to avoid this). However this works both ways, if prices go down, we will charge you less money. We would never charge a credit card a different price without the buyers permission. If you are not happy with the new price you can cancel the order without penalty. You can not seek compensation, this is the nature of the memory business.

Quotes

All quotes are valid for 10 days only unless noted otherwise.

Ordering Methods

We accept orders by the internet, fax, phone and conventional mail.

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Credit Card: Visa & Mastercard. We also accept Paypal payments

Online Transactions:

We use Paymate and Paypal to process online credit card transactions as both have excellent security practices. If you do not feel comfortable processing your card online you may phone or fax your details through. Once processed all records with your details are destroyed. We do not keep credit card details.

Purchasing Risks

There are a few things you should know as a consumer before purchasing any goods.

  1. Faulty Goods

All faulty products are subject to the manufacturer's warranty. Returns for faulty goods will be provided with either a replacement or credit, provided that the goods are returned in its original packaging along with the accessories. If a credit return is requested, a credit will be raised at the current or invoiced price, whichever is the lowest. If the returned product has been discontinued, Cheap Memory Australia can either replace for a similar product or repair the faulty product (subject to availability). Notification must be sent to the Cheap Memory Australia Returns department within 24 hours that the goods were not accepted. Should a customer accept the goods and subsequently discover damage, a damage claim must be submitted in writing to the Cheap Memory Australia Returns department within 24 hours of receipt of order. Failure to do so will result in the courier's refusal to honour the claim. It is the customer's responsibility to check the order immediately for concealed damage and compare the delivery note to the shipped items.

  3. DOA (Dead on Arrival) Returns

The Cheap Memory Australia Returns department must be notified within 5 working days of purchase for any DOA products. A copy of the proof of purchase must also be included. If a credit return is requested, a credit will be raised at the current price or invoiced price, which ever is the lowest. Should the current price be significantly less than the invoice price, customers may prefer a replacement product. Cheap Memory Australia reserves the right to test returned DOA products. If the product is not found to be defective, the product will be returned to the customer at the customer's cost and a handling/administration fee may also be charged.

  4. If the goods are opened a restocking fee may be applied.
  5. If applicable credits will be raised at the lowest of the current or invoiced value.
  6. Customer is responsible for all shipping and insurance charges associated with returning products pursuant to returns authorisation.

  8. Cheap Memory Australia will not accept any liability for goods lost or damaged in transit to our warehouse.
  9. Customer is responsible for ensuring that all goods are adequately packed to prevent damage in transit. Any goods found to be physically damaged upon receipt will be returned.
  10. Customer is responsible for ensuring that goods are returned using a courier or registered mail service that is able to provide a proof of delivery (POD) upon request. Cheap Memory Australia will not accept liability for any returned goods where the customer cannot provide a proof of delivery (POD).

Subject to the conditions and limitations set forth below, Kingston will, at its option, either repair or replace any part of its products that prove defective by reason of improper workmanship or materials.
Repaired parts or replacement products will be provided by Kingston on an exchange basis, and will be either new or refurbished to be functionally equivalent to new. Will I lose my manufacturers warranty if I use Kingston Memory?
